Weekly Divination Outlook - 07/13/20

Hi, hi, hi, everybody!

Hope your weekend was super awesome. Maybe you got stuff done. Maybe you just chilled and relaxed some. I don't know, but I hope it was amazing either way! Let's get this week started off, though. What do you say?

As always here's the spread I use:

I decided to do the Weekly Outlook with Brileigh this time. Which is my Nature's Whispers Oracle Deck by Angela Hartfield with illustrations by Josephine Wall. You can check out my review of the deck here:

We gonna jump into it now!

Here's what our completed spread looked like:

So, let's get into each card individually.

1. Monday

Potential Gateway

  • Stone: Clear Quartz - It's a really great, almost all-purpose stone to have around. Excellent for clarity and amplifying energies.

  • Monday's card shows us a large, old tree reminiscent of The World Tree, floating in space. Around its base of thick roots are numerous unicorns and people. Some seem to be resting while others look to be tending to the tree. A heart-shaped keyhole doorway lies open, letting us glimpse a fertile river valley with bright blue sky above it. Underneath this floating island, magic flows from the tree in a multitude of colors out into the universe.

  • Keep an eye out for different opportunities that may come your way today because a new path may be opening up to you. Life's journey is all about changing and adapting to what passes our way. As you finish one part of your experience, think about what you might want to do next, and look for the possibilities that will allow you to achieve it.

2. Tuesday

Keep Your Dreams Alive

  • Stone: Clear Quartz

  • This card has a multitude of images in it. It's a pleasant dreamscape with a swirl of colorful clouds sitting at the top with a burst of stars and luminous galaxies at the bottom. You have a flock of doves and a school of fish on one side. While on the other is a dandelion and purple lilies. There is a towering crystal mountain with an opening carved into it that light beams down on. Above this and the central figure of the card, is a child's face done in bright blue with a small crescent moon upon its third eye, while blowing a kiss your way.

  • To continue on from Monday's points, you need to really start to make some solid plans and begin taking the first steps towards making your dreams and goals a reality. Sit down and really get to the nitty-gritty of detailed planning. Be sure to not let your dreams get the better of you or get distracted by too many concepts at once. Maintain a grounded nature and focus on the practical, logistical side of things. Keep your common sense sharp while you realize your goals and work to manifest your dreams.

3. Wednesday

Infinite Blessings

  • Stone: Turquoise - I love this stone! I've always been fascinated by its colors and the various shades it comes in. So, I started collecting jewelry made out of it from a young age. It has a peaceful serenity to it and a very grounded energy.

  • Wednesday's card always makes me smile. It shows us a clear evening sky with sparkling stars under which a small snow-covered town sits with warmth shining from all the little windows. Above the village flies a girl that could be an angel, spirit, sprite, or fairy. She's beautiful with her iridescent wings and shining snowflake crown. I always think of her as a fairy. Since with her spreading the snow about it reminds me of the winter fairies in Fantasia. (Which is totally my favorite sequence!)

  • Today take notice of all the many blessings in your life. Open your heart up and acknowledge the innumerable gifts you've received from the universe. Let love surround you, shine through you, and be grateful for all the benefits you have in your life. Your life might not be as you always imagined it. (After all, we're not all rock stars, movie stars, or models lol!) But be sure to find happiness and contentment in the little moments of your life.

4. Thursday

  • Stone: Pale Amethyst - This is a stone I think everybody should have at least one of. It's got a very tranquil, healing energy and gives me a bit of inspiration when I'm in need of it.

  • This is another beautiful card here. It shows us a small sleeping fairy on a leaf in a river. Above its head, a bare tree shines with lit candles while an orange harvest moon hangs overhead. Far off into the distance, past the snow-covered fields and mountains almost too distant to make out, sits a bright spired castle over which two brilliant stars shine.

  • It's ok to show our vulnerability to others. Sometimes we get so caught up in the act of being "strong" that we forget as humans we all have feelings and emotions. And that showing them doesn't make us weak. In fact, I would say it's quite the opposite. It takes genuine strength of mind and heart to open yourself up to another person and let them see you as you are in your entirety. Allow yourself to be vulnerable with others. Those that really love you will see your vulnerability for the strength that it actually is.

5. Friday

  • Stone: Clear Quartz

  • This card shows us a figure running on the waves, in a seemingly blissful state as they are mid-transformation, with a burst of light and butterflies around them. The bright colors and movement in this piece convey a sense of ecstatic ecstasy and peace over the change occurring.

  • Be confident in yourself and your abilities! Things are starting to fall into place. You've laid the groundwork and put in the efforts to progress this far. It may be social, emotional, mental, spiritual, familial, financial, or professional. Still, somehow today is the day that you'll have a much-needed reemergence in some area of your life. It's one that you've been working toward and investing time into. Be proud of what you've accomplished, and be grateful for what you have.

6. Saturday

  • Stone: Pale Amethyst

  • This card shows us a scene above the Earth. The background holds the night sky with the full moon and stars shining. Below that is the Earth with islands and clear blue oceans. Hanging on the horizon is a giant conch shell in which a mermaid lays looking down at everything beneath her.

  • Now's the time to let loose and take a break. Break free of that routine of yours! It does no one any good to get complacent and let yourself grow stagnant. Do something you love that truly inspires you or try something completely new that you've never done before! You'll feel so much better after taking a little time for some adventure in your life. Treat yourself! And don't allow yourself to feel guilty about it either. Sometimes you just need to let loose, have some fun, go a little crazy(or not!), and be free of your worries for a bit. There's no harm in it and plenty of good to be had from de-stressing and recharging.

7. Sunday

Show Your Support

  • Stone: Howlite - I kinda love how Howlite is porous and can be dyed different colors. In this case, a bright yellow! To me, Howlite has a pretty balanced grounding energy to it, very chill.

  • Sunday's card shows us a blue sky with swallows flying overhead towards blossoming trees surrounding a lake. A fisherman rows across it. In the foreground, what looks to be a nymph sits amid the grasses and trees. In her hand, a sprite stands to offer her a perfect white rose.

  • It's time to show your support and be encouraging to someone in your own life right now. Be it a colleague, coworker, neighbor, friend, family member, or significant other. Someone needs your strong shoulder to lean on and some supportive words in their ear. Provide a safe space for them to talk to you and listen carefully to what they say. Then give them the best comfort and advice you can offer. We grow and evolve together through helping and supporting one another.

And that's our outlook for the week! If you've got any questions or comments, let me know down below.

If you're someone who's just starting out in Tarot, I highly encourage you to start from the beginning with Tarot Class: Intro to the Cards. I go over some general information on the cards and break them down for you a bit. Another good one to look at would be The Three Card Spread and its Many Uses. It's great for beginners and experienced readers alike.

Wednesday, we'll be going over the next Major Arcana Card, #5 The Hierophant! So be sure to come back to class and learn all about it. I certainly look forward to it!

Who knows what Friday may bring! I honestly haven't decided yet.

Next Monday, of course, we'll have our Weekly Divination Outlook.
